Appium Serverのアップデート
Appium Server/Driver/Appium Clientのバージョンを定期的にアップデートしないと、それぞれ互換性が取れなくなりうまく動作しないことがあります。ここではまずAppium Serverのアップデート方法をご紹介します。
Appium 2.0では最初に実行した以下の(インストール)コマンドを実行すると既にAppium 2.0β版の古いバージョンが入っていても、新しいバージョンにアップデートされます。
npm install -g appium@next
Driverのアップデート
続いてDriverのアップデートを実行します。以下のコマンドで実行します。
appium driver update <driverName>
uiautomater2をアップデートしたい場合は、「appium driver update uiautomator2」とします。
また、不要なDriverをアンインストールしたい場合は以下のコマンドを実施します。
appium driver uninstall <driverName>
Appium Clientのアップデート
最後にAppium Clientのアップデートを実行します。Clientがpython環境の場合は、以下のコマンドでAppium Python Clientをアップデートします。
pip install -U Appium-Python-Client
